Tracking and managing contacts throughout the WPP portal is an essential tool when it comes to furthering you wholesale parts business.
What is a contact?
Contacts are documented interactions made by sales reps that allow you to get a better idea of what topics are being discussed between customers and what next steps may be required in order to follow up with that customer.
How do I manage open and closed contacts throughout the WPP portal?
Managing existing contacts can be done in the ‘Contacts’ section of the portal, this can be found in the hamburger menu titled ‘Manage Contacts’. This page will provide you with a detailed list of all the contacts you have made with customers along with the ability to edit that contact and view that specific customers information.

Contact Activity Calendar
The Contact Activity Calendar gives you a physical calendar view of all of the open and closed contacts made by your outside sales reps. On this screen, you can filter out open and closed tasks, how the interaction was conducted (in person or virtual), as well as filter out by sales rep.

Contacts Monthly Trends Screen
This screen will show you a bar graph view/report of all the contacts made by sales reps throughout each month of the calendar year. Each sales rep is color coded and provides a link into each contact statistic that will route you to a screen that highlights activity done by that one sales rep in particular.
